It can be difficult for dentistry students to relate x-rays and other 2D imagery to the 3D anatomical structures that they represent. This model was made to help them relate the landmarks on x-rays to the 3D anatomy that they refer to. The model was based on the BodyParts3D dataset and further modified in Pixologic Zbrush to add moredetail and to align with a specific x-ray in an e-learning module on cephalometry. Some important landmarks for reading x-rays are annotated. 3D Model is ready to download for free

One of the oldest helmets in our collection, Many photos from the 1920’s seemed to be leather and did not have shields on the front indicating what company it was from. Circa 1920’s. Leather Helmet, is apart of the Indianapolis Fire Fighters Museum collection.
