Rumour has it that pirates kidnapped scientists studying Alien tech and forced them to build the ship. The fate of the scientists is unknown. An investigation revealed significant changes in the structure of microchips and wiring, which apparently resulted from the integration of Alien technology. The ‘Invincible’ line of ships was built during the second war for Bartle sector and has been continuously refined since. These faithful ‘workhorses’ of the Imperial Spacefleet were widely used for fire support during offensive operations. Military doctrines change, fleets are upgraded, but Invincible always remain in the ranks. Over the years of production and operation over forty different models and numerous modifications of the destroyer have been produced. For the first time a ship of this type was discovered on one of the satellites of the gas giant MOA-2011-BLG-322. The titanic ancient ship was abandoned for millennia. By pure chance, it was discovered by treasure hunters. A working mini-shipyard was found on board, which enabled Ellydium Corporation to quickly launch mass production of similar vessels, but much smaller. Recently I took an opportunity to redo a couple of our older starfighter assets in Sins of the Prophets, starting with our Longsword fighters of the UNSC faction. This particular model is of the smaller Longsword variant known as the “C-712”, serving as an interceptor in game.
This model is about double the polygons of the older model, at 1,036 polygons in all. All textures are done in 2K resolution and created with a mix of photoshop and materials from substance painter. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 2046 polygons.
