“Am I Truly the Last?“ When I was a child, I have seen 1hour of this movie and I looked for the rest all through my teens. Now, I know the last 30minutes of this masterpiece and the #StorybookChallenge was the opportunity to make a 3D piece in memory of my childhood. The movie was based on a original story of the same name, so I decided to make this scene in a book with an aspect 2D to 3D because of the traditional animation found throughout the movie. Thanks to my friend @Vailys for her tips and my boyfriend @Kalomnia for his advices during the process ! Artwork based on The Last Unicorn movie by Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass, 1982 and the original story by Peter S. Beagle, 1968. 3December day 15 - Cactus
Her bedroom was the brightest and cosiest of all the rooms
in the house. The window was small, but the warm rays of
sunlight shone brightly on the little girl’s face as she filled the
Unicorn pot with soil. Into that soil, she placed a succulent
cutting that she’d kept in a jar.
The man was repairing his hunting boots at the kitchen
table. His eyes focussed on his work. She walked towards
him to show him the plant, but decided to leave him be.
‘You take good care of that plant now and it will grow the
prettiest flower you’ve ever seen.’ he said over his shoulder.
A gentle smile suddenly transformed his stern face.
With both hands carefully holding the Unicorn, she replied
