  Thai Sandstone Male Warrior 3D Model 2026-10-05
Thai statue of a male warrior with a bow and quiver. The Sandstone material makes this statue light and relatively fragile. Equipment used: Canon 600D (used around 175 photos in a phototent+turntable setup with continuous dual softbox lighting). Software used: Agisoft Photoscan, RAW photo editor, Blender,Instant Meshes and Substance Painter. Mesh: The Original Scan had around 22M faces/triangles and was decimated to around 4.5M before baking a normal map from it. The Lowpoly has 20K triangles. Texture: the texture in the preview is an 8K texture, i've also made a 2k and 4k texture. If you want a good view of the scan’s quality, check the ‘Matcap+Surface’ option in the model inspector.
