Meet the captain, the first in a series of nautical themed characters. He is a low to mid poly character created for easy use in your project. The model is created with a pbr pipeline and includes textures to be used with popular realtime engines. He uses a standardised human rig to allow animation mapping from many sources such as mocap data from mixamo. The skeleton does contain some extra joints for bespoke animation/dynamic joints a simple face rig and some fun blendshapes. The download contains. -2 fbx files of the skinned character, one without blendshapes and one with. -a maya lt file with the skinned meshes and blendshapes. -Separate objs of the blendshapes -3 sets of high res textures. I’m back!!
I’ve been following Requinoesis for a while and saved a concept that I really wanted to do in 3D! They gave me permission to do it and it was quite a challenge!
I’ve been working on this on and off, I was working a lot and had minor health issues so it took me way too long to finish this.
Love out it turned out and I hope it gives justice to the original artwork!
