This took a long time to make! The hardest part was making it look fine on sketchfab. Also I'm submitting this to the January contest in February.... yeah. But it still fits the criteria!
I imagined a more “Yakuza" games style level, where the same space acts as a hub world and a fighting arena. Also I took huge influence from Tokyo-to from jet set radio.
Named Echo City, built on the pacific ocean by business congloramates to act as a city state and a tax haven. As it is a new nation all of the citizens are immigrants, so that explains the multilingual signs everywhere. This is the same setting my other pixel models reside in. 3D Model is ready to download for free with 28 Texture files attached, this model contains 29846 polygons and 21156 vertices.

Maple Samurai. Created for Feudal Japan challenge on ArtStation. 99895 triangles. Four 2k texture sets. The character is not based on any concept. The plan was to create the most realistic samurai armor I could in a given time. Hope I succeeded. Initially I’ve also wanted to include an environment which tells a small story abut his connection to a maple tree but had no time to create it during the contest. Bullpup variant of Korean People’s Army Type 88-2 Rifle used by Special Operation Force. There is not much images or informations about that rifle, just few low quality screens from propaganda videos that surfaced few times. It look like really basic conversion with some molded bakelite/plastic elements and few metal parts that hold it all together. It is simple but I need to admit it look nice even if really its just AK-74. Model is rigged, but there is also version with separated parts. It have 3 PBR Materials in 4K for gun it self, plus separate Materials for scope and flashlight.
