Lots of trees and plants because I love nature :) aswell as a nice cozy river this is how I cope with my escapism to go into a forest and never return to society bonus points if you can find all of the chickens! This is my scene for the Howest DAE diorama assignment. Before starting my studies at DAE I went on a summer trip to Norway and found the nature there, and in particular the forests, to be very inspiring. I tried to capture some of that experience in the foliage and landscaping of the garden. My main goal for this scene was to make it feel like a believable whole while still keeping a strong overall composition. I really tried to push myself on this one so any feedback will always be appreciated. I did my best to convey the forest loner’s story of why he lives where he does. He may be an art thief but I didn’t want to commit any actual art theft myself, so the paintings are just some photographs, mostly from Norway.
