  DAE Diorama - Forest Loner 3D Model 2026-06-25
For my 3D1 Final, I decided to make a diorama based off my village back in India. Located atop mountains and surrounded by nature, a lush green environment, a lake, and, reimagined with semi-modern architecture, my diorama depicts what a forest loner might live like around that area. It's messy, but for someone who's only modeled for more or less 6 months, I'm very proud of it. As much as I'd like to state that this diorama is a solo effort, it wouldn't have been possible without the feedback of the extremely helpful DAE Community, including Andra, Theoni, Timeea, Verena, and Kris. Thank you very much! You're all awesome.

For the course Stylised Creation at Howest DAE I made this cute dog. This assignment was focussed on going through the whole pipeline (blockout - sculpting - retopology - UV Layout - texturing - presentation). This little guy was sculpted in ZBrush, retopo and UVs were done in Maya and I used Substance Painter for the final texturing touches. This character was made out of a concept by Lynn Chen. Qweek assignment for DAE. my forest loner is a crazy conspiracy theorist who lives in lousiana. He loves to row around in his boat and read loads of books. While he is rowing around he is carefull for alligators and takes with him his shotgun. In the evening he is sitting outside in his favourite chair playing his fiddle and getting wasted on whiskey. Reading Corner Diorama - ART1407 UQAT Student Project The work consisted in modeling a room of our imagination with at least 20 objects inside. I did a cozy room to read and see the stars at night. I was inspired by fantasy and astronomy. The inspirations are in my collection “ART1407 - Diorama”. Textured with gradient atlas made on Photoshop.
