Bes is shown naked with legs apart, hands on hips and leonine mane and ears. On top of his head is a five plumed headdress. The figurine was excavated by B.P. Grenfell at Oxyrhynchus and donated to the Bolton Library and Museum Services Collection by the Egypt Exploration Fund.
